Jayven started school this year, and attends half days at a local Chinese Kindergarten. We strongly desire for all of our children to be able to speak the language both in Hong Kong (Cantonese) and Mainland China (Mandarin) and Jayven has began to pick it up. Often we hear him conversing with children in our church in Cantonese and even saying short phrases to us at home!
Levi is as content as ever, and just happy to have a “Thomas the Train” toy in one hand and a snack in the other. He loves playing and copying Jayven in everything!
Oliver had a bit of a rough start as a baby, but seems to be finding more joy in life these days haha. His brothers have taken quite the interest in him and before I know it they’ll all be playing together.
Photo above: This car was given to Jayven and Levi from a couple friend of ours that ended up not having room for it! The boys have so much fun together playing in it!
Photos below: At home photo shoot, that clearly Oliver was not having any enjoyment in.
*In May a few of us are going into China to “scout out the land” at a new village in the hopes of being able to take a team there. The village is the childhood home of a young girl in our church (Faith Family HK) she moved to Hong Kong at a young age but was born in China. She desires greatly for her family to get saved and her home village to know Jesus.
April 16th: Easter Sunday Outreach. We are believing for more families to be added to the church! Our Christmas Eve outreach proved fruitful in doing just that so we are really believing God to connect with even more.
April 17th- 20th: Amanda will be taking a short trip into China to meet with a few contacts there and set up possible trips.
May 1-5: China missions trip!
May 8 – June 16: We will be making our way back the states for 6 weeks to spend some time with family and friends, while also visiting churches to bring updates on China! This will be our first trip with all three boys so prayers are greatly appreciated ;).
